25.04.2025 - Back at the House of Happiness

I've been back here for almost a week now – and it feels like coming home. The familiar faces, the children's laughter, the hustle and bustle of the house – all of this fills my heart with warmth.

One moment particularly touched me: Our Ibrahim, who was dependent on his wheelchair for so long, is walking! He goes for walks every day, no longer needs assistance, his steps are firm, and his gaze is proud. He hasn't been this fit in over a year. Who would have thought it? His progress is a small miracle—and a great sign of hope.

The rainy season has begun. It's splashing, pattering, and roaring – but we're prepared. We now have clotheslines under a protective roof. No more running through the rain with dripping wet clothes – a small but extremely helpful change in our daily lives!

Things are now even more organized in our laundry room. New racks help dry, sort, and fold the freshly washed clothes. And I'm amazed every time: The kids know exactly who owns each T-shirt—a small logistical feat in the daily hustle and bustle. Organization takes practice—and here, that's done with a smile and often a mischievous comment. 😆

The kids are doing well. They're laughing, they're playing, they're doing silly things—and that makes me so happy. 🥰
