15.11.2025 - A traditional birthday celebration
On the last Sunday of the month, it was that time again: we celebrated our children's birthdays. This time, Moody and I were allowed to join in too – much to the children's delight. They could hardly wait to "baptize" us with water according to Tanzanian tradition. 23.10.2025 - Homework, games and lots of heart ❤️
Here in Arusha, too, it's time to do homework! 📚 The children sit together in concentration, and our moms and night watchman Edward patiently help. Even the little ones are eagerly participating – they practice on their little slates and are incredibly proud of themselves. Learn and laugh through play 🎲 Of course, there's plenty of playtime too! 13.10.2025 - Back with my kids! 💛
I'm back with my children in Arusha - and I couldn't be happier! I arrived on Friday, and on Saturday we had a special visitor: A Swiss family who found us online came by. Their two children (6 and 9 years old) had sorted through their stuffed animals and toys at home - and each of our children was allowed to choose a stuffed animal and a toy car.
