Welcome to the House of Happiness
We warmly welcome Gabriel and Suzan to the House of Happiness and are delighted that they have settled in so well after just a few days! Meanwhile, the children are thriving: they are enthusiastically making their own toys, Farajah is making his first attempts at speaking, and the new crayons are bringing colour and joy into everyday life. Preparations for school are also in full swing - there is always something to do!
A packed everyday life full of highlights
Our time here flies by and soon we have to prepare for the return journey. What have we experienced:
Trip to the playground: We spent a day at the playground with the children. We played, laughed and ate delicious food - the bus ride alone was an adventure for everyone!
Start of the new school year: The first day of school was something very special. Together we washed and ironed the uniforms, bound the exercise books and trimmed the hair. In the morning we accompanied the children on their way to school.
New chef: A new chef has joined our team and is preparing delicious dishes that the children really enjoy.
Help in everyday life: The children help out diligently, whether it's cleaning the floor, washing up, chopping vegetables or doing the laundry - teamwork is very important here.
Firefighter training: A firefighter instructor gave the adults and older children a practical training session. Not only were important safety measures taught, but all fire extinguishers in the House of Happiness were also brought up to date.
Creativity and movement: The children painted, made spinning tops with Mama Susi and played a lot.
Unfortunately, there is also sad news: our Ibrahim had to go to the hospital again. Our thoughts are with him and we hope for a speedy recovery.
The last few weeks have been full of events, joy and challenges. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support, which makes all this possible.
